PALONTARAQ.ID – Archaeological Park of Batu Pake Gojeng is located in the sub-district of Biringere, District of North Sinjai, Sinjai Regency, is approximately 2 km from downtown sinjai.
Batu Pake Gojeng located on a hill with a height of 125 meters from sea level. A prehistoric garden filled with shady trees so this place is comfortable to relax, enjoy the breeze while learning the trail of prehistory.
This place is crowded, by peoples of Sinjai or tourists. This tourist destination is unique because it contains historical value that has been thousands of years old.
Prehistoric Park Batu Pake Gojeng is a reference for the Sinjai government that serves as a natural park where the height of geomorphology and culture and the surrounding area in general is 59-96 meters above sea level.
Batu Pake Gojeng interpreted as is a stone that has been cut in the tool and Gojeng is the name of the region. Another version says that “Batu Pake” is a rock to the local community.

Other archaeological remains with little Menhir-height measuring 12-47 cm, width between 20-23 cm while the most important megalithic relics with the presence of natural chunks vary in size. And the remains of carved stone square is the focal point of the other variations of carved stone.
One of the stone square hollow, the largest is still trusted by the local community as the site of Batu Pake Gojeng former Kings tomb of a descendant of King Stone Pake Gojeng first.
Proof has been trimmed archaeological relics made with as many as 120 pieces footpath steps to the hill and turned into a tourist attraction location of objects both natural and cultural.
